GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY BATS AT EAST CESSNOCK

There’s help at hand for residents affected by a large bat colony at East Cessnock.

Council grants are being offered to subsidise the purchase of car, clothesline and pool covers, and high pressure hoses.

Priority will be given to those living within a 400-metre radius of the colony.

There’s also funding for a new community education program on flying foxes.
