PLANNING DEPARTMENT KEEPS EYE ON WARNERVALE FLIGHTS

The Planning Department will continue to monitor aircraft movements at Warnervale Airport.
A spokesperson said legal restrictions, limiting take offs and landings to 88 per day, have been enacted due to a “runway extension”.
But the Central Coast Aero Club says that will ruin its business.
Central Coast Council, which owns the airport, said movements vary daily and would not comment on whether the limits have been exceeded for legal reasons.
