DAVIDSON THROUGH TO THE AUSTRALIAN FINALS

Central Coast surfer Marcus Davidson is through to the over 35s finals of the Australian titles, after blowing his competition out of the water at Macauleys Headland on Tuesday.

The Shelly Beach local, finishing his quarter final heat with a final score of 15 points.

Damien Healy from Broadbeach also put up a good fight against his opponents – but it just wasn’t strong enough.

Ethan Smith from Surfing New South Wales says the Queenslander has had some good rides, but it just wasn’t his day.

“He was one of those guys who got the best waves from the swell, that hit Nias in Indonesia late last year.”
