The jury has retired in the trial of Troy Ruttley, in Tamworth Supreme Court.
Ruttley is accused of murdering Johann Morgan in 2015.
Ms Morgan has not been seen since, and her body never found.
The jury is expected to deliberate into tomorrow morning.
