The state government’s plan to replace disability group homes is stepping up, with news another 78 will be built in the Hunter.
Today the Disability Services Minister hit town to see one of the state’s first – but while he describes the policy as world-leading, not everyone is happy.

Isn’t funny how government officials always go to group homes when clients are never there. I’d like to see Ray Williams have lunch with clients, so he can see what actually happens in a group home at a significant part of the day.
