HILLSBOROUGH ROAD PETITION TABLED IN PARLIAMENT

Calls for safety upgrades to Hillsborough Road at Warners Bay will be debated in New South Wales Parliament later this month.
15-year-old Jade Frith died after being hit by a car while attempting to cross the busy road in April.
15,000 people have signed a petition calling for safety improvements.
State Member for Charlestown Jodie Harrison tabled the petition today, and the matter will be raised in parliament on June 23.
