SYDNEY TEAMS MAKE POLICE RUGBY FINALS

2011 champions, the Macarthur Bulls, have failed to make the finals of the New South Wales Police Rugby League Championships at Port Macquarie.

The Bulls went down by one point in the first semi final, with Cronulla landing a field goal just before half time.

Meanwhile Manly showed they have what it takes, beating Eastern Suburbs 10 points to six.

The Sea Eagles will now take on Cronulla in tonight’s final at regional Stadium.

But there’s not just a trophy up for grabs.

Players are also vying for a spot in the state police side to take on the maroons in a curtain raiser to the Sydney State of Origin match in June.
