A 45-year-old woman is recovering in hospital after allegedly being stabbed at a North Tamworth home this morning.
Police were called to Brewery Street at around 7.30, after a woman presented to Tamworth Hospital’s emergency department with serious injuries.
Officers remained at the scene for most of the day.
The woman is in a stable condition.
Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
