PERFECT START TO 2016 COMING TO AN END QUICKLY

The first day of the new year has been spot on but the first week is going to be a wet one. The monsoon low over central Austral is going to move across NW NSW from Sunday spilling across the rest of the broadcast region on Monday.

By Tuesday/Wednesday an east coast low is expected to form. Periods of rain, heavy at times and storms could drop large amounts of rain in a short period causing flooding.

So make the most of the fine weather and get prepared for this system. Who will be hit the worst is yet to be determined. We will have a better idea in the coming days.
