To state basketball and The Tamworth Thunderbolts have bounced back from last weekend’s loss to Port Macquarie, with a 73 to 48 point win over the UNE Lions.
Yet to win a state league game, it was the Lions best performance for the year.
They trailed by 10 with just three minutes on the clock, before Tamworth opened the floodgates.
