American musician, Michael Franti has joined a list of other stars to publicly throw their support behind the campaign to block Byron Shire Council’s draft events policy.
The blues and roots rocker has posted a clip on you tube, encouraging music lovers to sign Bluesfest Director, Peter Noble’s petition opposing the policy.
Sign the petition to let the councillors in the Byron shire know how important it is we keep music alive, not just for our generation but generations to come.
The draft policy aims to restrict major music events in the shire to, just two a year.
