Two women are recovering in Coffs Harbour hospital following a two car collision on the Pacific Highway last night.
It’s believed the accident happened when a south bound vehicle crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a hatchback.
The female driver of the north bound vehicle was trapped for around 30 minutes, and sustained fractures to her hand.
Her female passenger was treated at the scene by paramedics for suspected spinal injuries.
The accident, which happened at around 6pm, closed the highway in both directions for around one hour.
