A Marks Point couple is happy Lake Macquarie councillors will inspect their property tomorrow ahead of deciding whether plans for three new homes on the waterfront site can go ahead.
The plans are subject to council’s new climate change policy, which means the homes would have to be built nearly higher than the neighbouring fence.
“Do your feel like a bit of a test case? Oh definitely, we didn’t mean to be.”
“This is a precedential development the way the council deals with this matter to some degree will set the standard for future applications.”
