SAFER ROUTE TO SCHOOL
When primary school students at Floraville head back to the classroom tomorrow, they’ll find it easier and safer to get there.
New traffic lights have been switched on at Floraville Road, replacing a pedestrian crossing.
The state government spent $250,000 installing the lights in a move it says will benefit all pedestrians and particularly school-aged children.
Meanwhile, the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Violet Town Road at Belmont North is undergoing an upgrade to improve safety for motorists.
