Two people have died and a third person is in a serious condition after a helicopter crash at Cessnock in the Hunter Valley around midday.
The Robinson 44 aircraft came down at the southern end of Cessnock airport and burst into flames. Rescue crews are on the scene and a crash survivor has been flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
