MORE CLIMATE ARRESTS EXPECTED
At least two people have chained themselves to train tracks and up to 80 others are protesting on the grounds of a Hunter Valley power station.
The protestors charged over a fence at the Bayswater Power Station near Muswellbrook at around 11 this morning.
Police have made some arrests and are tonight urging the others to leave peacefully.
Macquarie Generation says there’s been no delay in production.
The protestors were attending a climate camp which has been held in the area for the past three days.
They’re concerned with the environmental affects of coal mining.
