Central Coast jockeys took to the track at Gosford Race Club today – testing out the $2-million turf and camber upgrade.
The improvements are set to enhance local horse racing and help attract top talent to the region.
Jockey, Joshua Parr said “the new cambering on the corner helped the horse”.
While Michael Griffiths from Gosford Race Club said “it’s going to be more competitive racing here at Gosford as we go forward.”
The new track is also expected to boost tourism.
