Police are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated break and enter where a 54-year-old man suffered injuries to his legs after he was struck with a machete.
Emergency services responded to reports of a man being injured at a premises in Tamworth around 4am this morning.
Police allege 3 teenagers entry to a home at The Grange around 4 o’clock, allegedly armed with a machete and knives.
Police say the group threatened the man before stealing a Mercedes, which was later recovered.
A crime scene was established and police conducted a canvas of the area, however, no persons were located.
