“Homicide” still a possibility in 71-year-old’s poison death

An inquest has heard that homicide remains a possibility, in the death of Hunter farmer Douglas Thrift.

The 71-year-old died from strychnine poisoning almost six years ago… lawyers for his wife say she hopes the coroner’s findings will mean he can finally rest in peace.
