A man has been charged over an alleged home invasion at Casino last night where he and two other men reportedly entered a home on Hickey Street and threatened a man and woman with an axe, before stealing personal items.
Police were called following the incident around 8:35pm, where they established a crime scene into the incident.
A short time later, a 20-year-old man was arrested at a motel on Hare Street, Casino, before being taken to Casino Police Station.
There he was charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence, and aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Casino Local Court on Thursday February 22.
Inquiries are continuing.
