Spate of NSW drownings sparks fresh safety calls

Nine people have drowned on the New South Wales coast since summer began… and that’s sparked calls from lifesavers and lifeguards for increased swim-safety education.

Experts say the country’s still playing catch-up, after the lack of swimming lessons during the pandemic.
