Achieving an Australian first for women in AFL has been earmarked as the major highlight of the 2023 North West season.

Competition manager Brad Greenshields has looked back on the year that was – and says 2024 will be all about the juniors.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
