There are claims the South East could miss out on a daylight saving trial, because the Queensland Government’s failed to effectively advertise its short public consultation process.

Please get with the times Brisbane and do daylight savings. Don’t even trial it – just do it. You are missing out on the rest of Australia – and really are quite behind.
Don’t even get me started on your appalling shop trading hours. Its enough to make me leave the state – seriously!
Agree with Michelle Davis what on earth are people scared off. Lets get an extra hours daylight at the end of the day instead of when the majority are tucked up in their beds asleep. They are behind not only the other states but the rest of the world too.
Lets trial it to show the doubters how it works and that it wont affect the cows milking as the ones in the UK and europe seem to cope perfectly well with DLS!!!!!!
You want us to vote but you make it impossible to find where to do it or what website to go to. Even this one I don’t know if this will get through. I am 55 and not good with this kind of response, but in saying so I have every right to vote because I have paid my taxes for 40 years and should be able to voice my opinion. I live in Tweed Heads but I work in Southport, I work 12 hour shifts with people with disabilities and I come home to someone who has a disability and pets who need to be feed, they don’t understand time just their needs, so please implement the same time for all.
