TRADESMEN LUCKY TO BE ALIVE AFTER UTE ROLLS
Two Grafton tradesmen are lucky to be alive, after their utility rolled on the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour’s CBD early this morning.
The 18-year-old driver of the utility lost control of his vehicle around four o’clock, causing it to flip before slamming into a tree.
Despite the damage, both men escaped with minor injuries.
The southbound lane of the Pacific Highway was closed for a short time while the scene was cleared.
Investigations are continuing but police say fatigue was a factor.
It’s believed the pair were on their way to Port Macquarie for work.
