In round four of the group 2 rugby league competition:
Macksville beat Woolgoolga by two tries, while down at the graveyard spectators were on the edge of their seats for the Bellingen Nambucca clash which ended in a one point gap.
Further south Port Macquarie fell to the Macleay Valley Rangers.
Meanwhile reigning premiers Sawtell had a win over Orara, only letting the Axemen get one try through.
