The crew of HMAS Newcastle has made good on a pledge, to provide the Hunter Orthopaedic School with a new bus.
The sailors didn’t let being away at sea get in their way, clocking up the equivalent of more than 21,000 kilometres, through a number of onboard and dockside fundraising activities.
