The SES has announced a New North Eastern zone commander, overseeing operations from Urunga to Tweed Heads.
Chief Superintendent Greg Swindells previously worked as a Commander in Greater Sydney.
Chief Superintendent Swindells worked in the police force, before working as an SES volunteer on the Tweed Coast.
