Environmental groups back calls for coal inquiry

Environmental groups have backed calls for an inquiry into allegations the quality of Australian coal exports, has been oversold.

Federal independent Andrew Wilkie has pointed the finger at several companies – including two operating in the Hunter – but a Labor MP insists the matter must first go through the corporate watchdog.
