Norco employees stood down as the cooperative make decision on rebuild

170 employees have been stood down at the Norco ice-cream factory.
The cooperative has been granted an extension to work through the details of how they could rebuild with the $35 million government package.
Norco has requested an additional $9 million, while the unions call for voluntary redundancies to be offered.
Their board will make a call on the rebuild next Thursday.
