The New South Wales Supreme Court has heard the mother of a seven-year-old girl who starved to death at Hawks Nest in 2007, was foolish and negligent but not a murderer.
In his closing submissions defence Barrister Dennis Stewart, said the woman didn’t appreciate just how bad the child’s situation had become.
