The state government is taking a step closer this week to making a decision on the future of the Glen Innes Agricltural Research Station.
The working group formed to save the facility will submit a report to the Minister for Primary Industries, Ian Macdonald, tomorrow.
The submission outlines the value of research at the centre and possible partnerships for future funding.
The government announced last year it would shut the station to save money, but the minister agreed to keep it open until a final decision is made.
