Kris Lees and Nash Rawiller are celebrating their first Ballina Cup, yesterday combining to win the feature North Coast race.
Lees-trained Kedah jumped from gate four… Rawiller waited until the last 150 metres to drive the mare home from the middle of the field to claim the $65,000 cup.
Snatching victory from local galloper Jacksprat, with another local finishing third.
