NBN News shared a story twin foals over Christmas about the birth of twin foals born at Port Stephens – however, there’s been a sad development, with one of the foals falling seriously ill.
The little filly has developed a bone infection, which can be a risk with twins.
She’s being treated with antibiotics and pain relief.
A crowd-funding campaign has been set up to help with the vet bills, which are expected to total around $10,000.
