Confusion has turned to frustration, as Tamworth’s Peel Street Markets have been cancelled due to erratic COVID restrictions.
New regulations that came into play last Monday meant retail markets couldn’t get underway due to the difficulty of enforcing vaccination requirements.
But restrictions eased on outdoor markets, just days later.
The Peel Street event won’t return until next month.
