A man has been charged after allegedly assaulting two police officers at Byron Bay.
Police say the 31-year-old punched the constables when they attempted to remove him from a bogged ute on Kendall Street last night.
He’s been refused bail to face court, later this month.
Both officers were taken to Byron Bay Hospital with facial injuries.
