BAKERY GOES UP IN FLAMES AT CARDIFF
Two workers and several residents have escaped injury, after Cardiff’s French Hot Bread shop went up in flames in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene, off Main Road and Harison Street, at around 1.20am.
Thankfully the employees inside the shop and residents who lived above had evacuated.
Multiple crews worked to contain the blaze and prevent it spreading to surrounding buildings – a process which took more than two hours.
The bakery itself was totally destroyed.
