GAV’S WEATHER | MORE INLAND RAIN ON THE WAY

Central northern Australia remains clear.

All of the weather action is in the southern half of the country, as a numerous weather systems continue to sweep in off the Great Southern Ocean.

They’re making sure winter remains a wet, chilly one and very active, with the biggest snow dump of the season on the way for the Alpine regions in the coming days.

More wet, cold, weather is on the way for the region, with the rain mostly coming down on the western side of the Divide and around the Upper Hunter.

The northern New South Wales coast and south east Queensland will mostly be cloud affected, with very limited amounts of rain reaching the Northern Rivers and south east Queensland.

Rain periods will increase across the north west.

Only light, patchy falls will make it to the coast.

Partly cloudy skies are expected from the Coffs Coast across the Northern Rivers to south east Queensland, where it will be mild to warm, as temperatures reach the low to mid 20s.
