LANDHOLDERS WARNED ABOUT PARTHENIUM

An infestation of a highly invasive weed has been detected in the North West, believed to be linked to feedstock brought down from Queensland.
Parthenium looks like a small daisy, and poses a significant threat to livestock, and can reduce crop and land value.
Gunnedah Shire Council and the DPI are urging landholders to report sightings.
