EARLIER | A man has been bitten by a shark on the Mid North Coast.
Emergency services were called to reports of a shark attack at Nine Mile Beach, Tuncurry, at around 11:10.
The man believed to be in his 40s has suffered a bite wound to his right thigh and is in a serious condition.
Paramedics are treating the man, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter headed to the scene.
