Laser World Champion Tom Slingsby is competing with his father David, and Canadian Olympian Mike Leigh in the New South Wales Etchells Championships on Brisbane Water this weekend.
After the first race, former World Champions Peter McNeil and Cameron Miles are well placed finishing fourth and fifth respectively, with Slingsby in 14th place.
