Coffs Harbour’s historic jetty is set to reopen to the public next week after a major upgrade.
$1.6-million has been spent on restoration works to the heritage listed jetty which is a popular tourist attraction.
The work included replacing 100 wooden piles and other structural improvements above and below the water.
Bridge carpenters and divers carried out the work on schedule despite several interruptions due to poor weather.
The Jetty last underwent major repair works in 1996.
