To girls cricket, and Glen Innes High have been crowned the CHS regional champions, following a nail biting match against Armidale’s Duval High today.
Glen Innes opened the batting at home, cementing seven for 118.
But Duval fell just seven runs short of victory.
Shannon Marchant top scored for Glen Innes snatching 26 runs.
The side take home the Marie Cornish trophy and have secured a spot in the top 16 teams in the state.
