Moree and the Narrabri’s AFL clubs will merge this season.
The Eagles were unable to field a team last year, while and the Suns struggled for numbers in the shortened season.
Both clubs hope joining forces will spark more interest and boost numbers.
The teams will face off against five teams when the competition kicks off on April 17.
