FORESTS NSW TO REVIEW PLANTATION METHODS FOR FUTURE BUSHFIRES

Forests New South Wales says its doing its part to minimise the impact of future bushfires around the state.

The organisation plans to review its plantation methods and investigate the effectiveness of fire breaks.

The study will also look into distances between trees and roads.

It comes after damage to forests ran into the millions during the Black Summer bushfires, including in the Nundle State Forest.
