A 74-year-old woman has died in a car crash at Coopernook north of Taree this afternoon.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Harrington Road.
Both drivers and a male passenger suffered minor injuries, an elderly passenger was unable to be revived.
The drivers have been taken to Port Macquarie Hospital for mandatory testing.
Kempsey police have begun investigations into the circumstances of the crash.
