FEARS GROW AROUND FUTURE OF THE MOUNT WARNING WALKING TRAIL
Discussions around the future of the popular walking trail at Mount Warning are growing, after a local stumbled across this pile of steel posts.
National Parks closed Wollumbin National Park in March last year to comply with COVID rules, but during that period, found the steel posts and chain used by climbers were reaching the end of their useful life.
Despite fears the Summit track could be permanently closed, National Parks says the closure will be reviewed in May.
