The owner of a much-loved Tamworth restaurant has thanked the community for its help after her venue was engulfed by floodwater earlier this week.
Locals rushed to help staff at Carmen’s Italian Restaurant on Tuesday, when a severe storm lashed the Kingswood area.
Management says the restaurant has been extensively damaged and will remain closed until January 2.
