REPAIR WORKS WRAP UP SWIMMINGLY AT TAMWORTH OLYMPIC POOL

Tamworth Regional Council has confirmed repair works on the town’s Olympic Pool are complete.

The facility closed in April due to water restrictions and its scheduled reopening in October was delayed due to structural damage.

“Those works have gone perfectly well and we’re back on track. As you can see, we’ve got water in the pool and we’re getting very excited about opening this great facility to the community.”

Seven hoses are currently filling the pool with potable water.

Council plans to have the facility reopened to the public by December 14.
