COUNCIL AGREES TO PLAN COVID-SAFE CELTIC FESTIVAL IN 2021
Glen Innes Severn Council has agreed to plan a COVID-safe Celtic Festival in 2021.
The popular event, which would usually run over four days in May, celebrates the best in Scottish tradition, food and performance.
A shortened version, which would instead run over two days, has been tabled.
It would allow 500 guests at a time, over six timeslots at just two venues.
Council says that, while it can now start planning, the final decision rests in the hands of the Health Authorities.
