WOMAN AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING TRAMPLED BY COW

A woman has broken her leg after being trampled by a cow on Tuesday evening.

The 35-year-old was working on a property at Nelson Plains near Raymond Terrace when the incident occurred.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was alerted just after 6pm and assisted NSW Ambulance Paramedics.

Once stabilised, the lady was airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
